1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of SkateX, including all video streams, photo galleries, member authentication portals, and related services. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use or access the site.
2. Community Purpose & Permitted Use
SkateX is created for the benefit of the roller and inline skating community attending scheduled rink sessions (including our Saturday night sessions). The video and photo archives are provided for:
- Personal review and skate technique analysis.
- Reliving community sessions, social connection, and choreography practice.
- Non-commercial community appreciation.
3. Member Account & Credential Security
Access to session recordings is restricted to registered skaters and club members. If you are issued or maintain a member account:
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password.
- You agree not to distribute, publish, or share your credentials with unauthorized third parties or public forums.
- Notify session administrators immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your member account.
4. Intellectual Property & Content Rights
All videos, photographs, audio tracks, and site design on SkateX are protected by copyright laws. Footage captured by session videographers remains the property of SkateX and session organizers, subject to the privacy rights of individual skaters.
- Skaters' Personal Likeness: Individual skaters retain personal rights to their likeness and may request the removal or redaction of any clip featuring them at any time.
- No Unauthorized Redistribution: You may not download, scrape, mirror, or republish session videos on public social media or commercial platforms without the express consent of the featured skaters and SkateX administrators.
5. Prohibited Conduct
When using SkateX, you agree not to:
- Attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent the member authentication wall or video streaming controls.
- Use automated scrapers, bots, or extraction scripts to harvest video files or member data in bulk.
- Use any footage for harassment, defamation, ridicule, or commercial advertising.
- Upload malicious code, tamper with site headers, or interfere with server performance.
6. Rink Safety & Video Disclaimer
Roller and inline skating are active sports that carry inherent physical risks. SkateX video recordings and technique commentary are provided for informational and recreational purposes only. They do not constitute certified professional coaching or safety guarantees. Skaters must always adhere to rink safety regulations and skate within their abilities.
7. Service Availability & Modifications
We strive to provide continuous, high-performance video streaming. However, SkateX reserves the right to modify, update, archive, or temporarily suspend access to sessions for maintenance, server upgrades, or content review without prior notice.
